How to Measure Replacement Windows

The following are general guidelines on how to measure for a replacement window


1. From the inside of your home, measure the width of the opening: Top, Middle, and Bottom.


2. Identify the narrowest measurement and subtract the following:

1/4 inch for siding or stucco exterior

1/8 inch for brick or rock exterior

This will serve as the width of the window you’ll order.


3. Measure the height of the opening: Left side, Middle, Right side.


4. Identify the shortest measurement and subtract the following

1/4 inch for siding or stucco exterior

1/8 inch for brick or rock exterior

This will serve as the height of the window you’ll order.
