ENERGY EFFICIENCY STANDARDS
ClearMax® Windows & Doors provide the ultimate way to keep the temperature in your home consistent while still being able to enjoy the view of the beautiful outdoors.
The biggest source of temperature fluctuation in every home comes from windows and doors, and these are literally where the biggest holes in your home’s insulation come from.
Our windows and doors are designed to completely minimize temperature fluctuation and not let the cool air escape in on those swelteringly hot days, and to keep your home cozy and warm on frigid winter days.
LOW-E
Low-emissivity glass (Low-E) minimizes the infrared and ultraviolet light that can come through your windows, while still allowing the same amount of light to pass through.
Low-E glass also controls the temperature in your home with a transparent, micro-thin coating that reflects heat, and maintains equilibrium with the current temperature inside.
DOUBLE & TRIPLE PANE WINDOWS
The most advanced windows available are double and triple-paned windows. There is a sealed and uniform space between each pane that allows no airflow. This creates layers of insulation for energy-efficient maintenance of inside temperatures.
ARGON GAS
Argon is a dense, inert gas that is a fundamental element naturally existing in our atmosphere. Argon gas is placed between the window panes to act as a natural insulator.
It is a heavy gas, and more capable of trapping heat. This natural insulator will create energy-efficiency in winter and summer, lowering your gas bill and reducing your carbon footprint.
QUALITY INSTALLATION
Our team of highly trained professionals at ClearMax® Windows & Doors is eager to provide the best window and door installation, securing the seals of any potential leaks which may result in energy loss.
Proper installation can reap huge benefits for your comfort level and for your monthly energy bill.
Energy Incentives for Individuals: Residential Property
In 2018, 2019 and 2020, an individual may claim a credit for (1) 10 percent of the cost of qualified energy efficiency improvements and (2) the amount of the residential energy property expenditures paid or incurred by the taxpayer during the taxable year (subject to the overall credit limit of $500).
Energy-efficient exterior windows, doors and skylights qualify as energy efficiency improvements.
